My dear friends and clients...

Some of you may know Jean Kluding, our beloved friend and Bigfork resident.  Jean was diagnosed with breast cancer in December.  She is now awaiting radiation treatments.  Jean is facing mounting out-of-pocket healthcare costs.  She did not meet her deductible last year, therefore has outstanding medical bills from December. The Bigfork community is generously raising money to help Jean with her  medical expenses that will not be covered by her insurance. Our January days have been absolutely gorgeous. Sunny with lots of pure white and gleaming snow. Heidi and Rainier (my Berners) have been loving it. Here's a video of them playing in the snow. Who can resist a cute video of pups playing, right? OK. Indulge me!

This is the time of year when we can catch a bit of breath before March, when the listings will start rolling in. The outlook is good for real estate not just in the Flathead Valley but nationwide. The most recent Kelley's Market Report tells us that the most  active segment of the market are for homes on lots that are smaller than three acres, with no water frontage. Click here for a complete statistical breakdown. Most importantly and something to consider when listing your property is price. It's the key factor. If not competitive with other comparative properties on the market that have recently sold, it will be unlikely to sell and becomes shopworn the longer it stays on the market. My experience and expertise will guide you to the right price.
