Round Up in the ReStore this March and Support Women Build

This March we're celebrating Women's History Month and International Women's Day (March 8) in our ReStores. Through the month, every Round Up transaction will automatically support our Women Build initiative.

At Habitat SLO County we believe strong women build strong communities, and our Women Build initiative brings people together to create community and celebrate the pride that comes with being a woman in this field. Every Round Up donation will directly support our Women Build Community Build Day to be scheduled in April.

Support Women Build this spring!

  • Attend networking with Professional Women Builders Committee (WHBA) March 20 from 3pm - 6 pm during Year of Beer at The Hub (details below).
  • Join the Women Build Community Build Day. At the Year of Beer networking event we will begin taking registrations for the upcoming build day on our Vine Street project. Registration will be online at support.habitatslo.org.
  • Round Up or donate in our ReStores through March.

Legacy: Habitat SLO County Staff Word of the Year 2024

Habitat SLO County staff came together Tuesday Jan 30 for a day of training, education, and inspiration at our annual staff in-service retreat. Our team had the opportunity to connect and engage with each other in new and meaningful ways, and focused on establishing a "word of the year" to focus our work in 2024.

ReStore Receives HUGE Flooring Donation!

Our ReStores recently received a generous donation of high-quality flooring including hardwood and carpet rolls. Hardwood samples including cherry, birch, walnut, maple, oak, hickory and more are now on display in Paso and San Luis Obispo stores. Quantities vary by type with lots ranging from 350 sq. ft. to 1700 sq. ft. Small lots of 100 sq. ft. or less are available in store now, or call Quinton at (805) 825-9817 for bulk pricing of pallet quantities.

We recommend all buyers contact a professional for installation; this is not DIY "click-in" material. Additional materials will be required for proper installation of this solid wood flooring. See manufacturer website or consult a professional for more information.

Habitat SLO County cannot honor warranties, however manufacturer warranties may vary by product. No refunds, exchanges, or store-credit; all sales are final.

Pickup location will be given at time of sale; no deliveries.
