25 years ago, Patricia Bourne began her career as the very first employee of the Central Alberta Rural Electrification Association.
Today, as CEO of EQUS REA LTD., the largest member-owned utility in Canada, Pat oversees over 100 employees who provide services to an area spanning from the U.S. border to Barrhead.
Pat believes in values-based leadership and strives to reflect this every day in EQUS corporate culture.
Pat was named Global's "Woman of Vision" in February 2017, an award that celebrates the accomplishments of outstanding women in the Edmonton area who have implemented their passion and whose personal dedication and actions inspire us all.
