Berkshire Botanical Garden’s Fitzpatrick Greenhouse becomes a harbinger of spring from February 24 through March 10, when the public is invited to enjoy hundreds of flowering bulbs in an annual exhibition that features springtime favorites and a collection of bulbs rarely seen in the northeast. The Bulb Show is BBG's springtime gift to the community, when it honors its role as a horticultural resource and takes pride in presenting unusual pairings of flowering bulbs. Admission is free. The Bulb Show is open weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekends, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lowell's annual WinterFest weekend will be held in downtown Lowell February 17-18! This fun event features everything from a carousel and ice-skating to an all-you-can-eat chocolate festival. Festivities at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium also include an art market, food vendors, live music and a soup competition. Fun for the whole family!

The 101st Greenfield Winter Carnival will be held throughout Greenfield February 3-5! Nothing says tradition in Greenfield like Winter Carnival. The event brings the community together in a celebration of the season with a weekend full of activities including ice sculpture contests, fireworks, Parade of Lights, Glow Party, Family Fun Fest, Donuts with Olaf, a laser light show, jigsaw puzzle contest, cribbage tournament, cardboard sled race, k9 keg pull, chili cook off, vintage snowmobiles, sledding, ice skating, and so much more! It’s a true family favorite.
