Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR) is a short-term trauma-informed, skills-focused treatment for PTSD and depression symptoms. The STAIR model consists of an 8-session, progressive intervention that helps individuals reduce PTSD symptoms, strengthen emotional regulation and management, and improve the quality of interpersonal relationships. Since this is a three-part training, it is strongly recommended that you participate in all three sections of the training. Part I will consist of an overview of the model and will cover the content of sessions 1-3.

Spirituality and Client Mental Health
Friday, February 24 (10:00am-11:30am)
Funder: SAMHSA
Many people with a behavioral health diagnosis have spiritual or meditative practices that are important sources of support in their lives. According to the Washington Post, “… more than half of patients are interested in spiritually integrated therapy.” (9/23/22) In this interactive presentation, we will first review common types of spirituality and practice. We will then investigate ways to respond when a client raises the topic and different methods to support the member in this area of their lives. Throughout, we will ask participants to share their experiences and recommendations. This presentation will not prescribe a particular form of spirituality, but will aid providers in honoring and supporting spiritual practices and traditions that enhance clients’ lives and recoveries.
