Applications are Open for Senior Housing at 1425 Teaneck Road

Dedicated to Former Mayor Lizette Parker, this is an age-restricted rental community for people 62+ years of age who meet low and moderate-income criteria

Community Begins at Home Project Launches its Survey

Input Sought from Teaneck Residents Aging with Disabilities and Their Caregivers


If you or someone you care for is aging with a disability or is challenged with chronic conditions, please help inform this important project to address livability challenges in Teaneck by filling out our survey.

Community Begins at Home is funded by an Inclusive Healthy Communities grant from the Division of Disability Services, New Jersey Department of Human Services. The project is being led by The Bright Side Family, as an outgrowth of the Age-Friendly Teaneck project, in partnership with Township of Teaneck and Heightened, Independence and Progress (hipcil).

Your Voice Matters - New Jersey Advocates for Aging Well Survey

NJAAW, a non-profit statewide advocacy group, is conducting a survey to gather personal insights, plans and opinions on aging in NJ. This survey is for people age 60+ who consider New Jersey their primary residence and live independently in the survey. If you want to help shape aging advocacy in New Jersey, click here to take the survey.

Cerbone's role is to assist residents with social, emotional, physical and mental health issues and crises. Based on individual needs, his department can also help navigate residents to available social services resources, including financial service through the Public Assistance Trust Fund. On Wednesdays, Cerbone is located on the Upper Level of the Rodda Center in the Medical Outreach offices of the Senior Center for easier accessibility.
