Would you like to learn how to express your commitment to the goals of The Arc of Fort Bend County? You could do this through a planned gift. Once you have provided for loved ones in your will, you may want to include a gift of money, stock or property to The Arc. Your gift will be a lasting tribute to your concern for the advocacy, services and programs The Arc provides, while guaranteeing our long-term future.

Did you know that annually, individuals 70.5 and older can transfer up to $100,000 as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from their traditional IRA* to a qualified charity such as The Arc of Fort Bend County?

Our TwentySomethings group is for young adults ages 19 to 30 with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are transitioning from high school into the community. The goal is to create welcoming events for socializing and networking among families experiencing the same transition. We offer 6-8 TwentySomethings events a year and most activities are free of charge.

Parents and family members will be asked to stay with their son or daughter for the entire event, as there is no direct supervision provided at our events. There will be other parents present and that is where the networking opportunities will be provided. You will be able to sit with other parents and discuss topics of concern to you!

Please contact Pam Hollaway to sign up for our TwentySomethings group!

We look forward to meeting you!
