at 8 a.m. Thursday Feb. 23 at the Hilton Hotel, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd. purchase tickets for $50 at www.methodisthealth.org/livingwellbreakfast.

Following Harris's talk, the conversation continues at 9:30 a.m. with three concurrent breakout sessions:
  • Mental Health in the Workplace led by Gary Shorb, former CEO, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare
  • Mental Health in the Faith Community led by Dr. Shane Stanford, senior pastor, Christ United Methodist Church
  • Starting Your Journey to Mindfulness led by Dr. Mark Muesse, associate professor of Religious Studies, Rhodes College and Michael Burnham, mindfulness based stress reduction coach

MSNM Week Coming Soon

The National NO MORE Week is March 5 to 11 and Memphis Says NO MORE will join in with special activities and new outreach efforts.
In addition to fostering grassroots events to raise
awareness about domestic violence, sexual assault and abuse, NO MORE also offers from March 2 to April 11 a competition for local non-profits to raise funds thru the NO MORE Challenge supported by Verizon Wireless. Please watch for ways to participate in our next newsletter, on Facebook and Twitter.
Meanwhile spot our compelling signs featuring the Memphis Grizzlies on MATA buses and in the Memphis airport.

Our interns and volunteers are energetically carrying the message across the county with a special effort to get the messages of NO MORE domestic violence and rape to our youth. Grizzlies posters and resource cards are at weekly rallies organized by the Memphis Office on Youth, and a rally on dating violence/domestic violence for teens and parents hosted by Shelby County Schools at Craigmont High School.

MSNM materials are displayed at a local youth rally.

Plan now to attend the Memphis Says NO MORE game night on April 9 with special events and giveaways as the Grizzlies play the Detroit Pistons in the FedEx Forum.
