Friends of Reston Shares the Love at Donor Reception

More than 50 donors, enthusiasts and VIPs gathered at the Lake House in Reston this week to “share the love” at the Friends of Reston VIP Donor Reception. Friends of Reston is a 501c3 organization that performs scientific, educational and charitable projects in support of Reston Association and facilitates everything from summer camp scholarships and environmental education to the Fall 5K, natural area restoration and much more. This week’s reception also included a silent auction with wonderful donations from local businesses and supporters; all proceeds benefit the Friends organization. 

Meet the RA Board Candidates

The candidates for RA’s Board of Directors have been announced, and those candidates are eager to answer your questions about their respective platforms and their thoughts on the issues facing our community. Join them for a virtual Candidates’ Forum on Monday, February 26 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Questions may be submitted in advance by emailing ElectionsCommittee@reston.org  by February 22, 2024 by 12:00 noon. Learn more about the candidates and the election process, which begins March 1.

RA Hours

Member Services will be open on Saturday, February 17, and Saturday, February 24, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm to assist members with making their 2024 assessment payment.

Members can still make assessment payments online, via drop box outside RA headquarters, via mail-in payment, or by calling Member Services at 703-435-6530.

Late fees for assessment payments will be incurred starting March 1. Learn more at www.reston.org/assessment-overview.
