Hi everyone

Well this is turning into being a very busy time for us at Moor Hall. Next month we are holding our annual Music and Arts Festival, The Bettws Triangle, which is held over three sites, a mile apart, (forming a triangle).....all in the glorious countryside of South Shropshire.The day time performances are all free, although visitors may donate if they wish, in addition we now have evening perfomances which the public must pay to see. The festival is growing and becoming very popular and if you come you will experience all kinds of music, mostly from local artists, including folk, classical, jazz, choirs, solo artists and very much more.

FOOD WILL BE SERVED FROM 5.30 to 7.00 at MOOR HALL

What a fabulous course this was, even though surprisingly very few students attended. But that did mean I could take part and I always enjoy courses with Matthew. I can't show you all of the images as I took so many, but here is a snapshot of sections of a 4 yard length of sized fabric which Matthew had prepared for us to work on. Sizing it, meant we could apply drawing and paint using almost any media. He put us through a whole series of tasks and prompts to help us keep the working moving on...........a most enjoyable course.

Next up is Alex McIntyre

She will be doing a course called 'FINDING POSSIBILITIES' and Alex invites you to join with her on this course especially if you would love to embrace the creative process and play with intention. She describes the course as one which encourages you to ‘be less precious’, let go of ‘thinking’ and embrace the possibility and potential of ‘mistakes’ – all whilst gaining insight into your unique visual language, intuition and taste.
