Farmer's Market

We invite you to attend the Palace City Farmer's Market on Wednesdays this summer, 5:30-7:30 pm at Hitchcock Park! You will find all types of home-cooked, homemade, and hand-crafted items. There will also be a performance by the Mitchell Municipal Band in the bandshell starting at 7:30 pm.

Summer Celebration Concert

Join us outside on Wednesday, June 12th in the cul-de-sac at Edgewood Mitchell Assisted Living (501 E. Spruce St.) featuring the SDARNG-147th Army Band! We’ll kick it off with a flag-raising & Veterans salute at 6 PM while enjoying snacks and beverages! Open to the public. Limited seating - bring your own lawn chair!

Open to all classic cars, trucks, hot rods, and motorcycles. On Friday, June 14th at Iverson Auto.

Heart and Sole Cancer Walk

We'll start at 6:30 on June 14th and enjoy an evening of fellowship and community. Come to walk or set up a campsite at Hitchcock Park to relax and enjoy the night! We'll have a DJ, raffle, kids' games and food. Come and go as you please. The raffle ends at 8:30 but you do not need to be present to win.

Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo: "Cowboys In Paradise"

The Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo is back! The rodeo will be July 18th-21st with a parade on Main Street on Saturday at 10:30 am. You won't want to miss this staple event in Mitchell. The new rodeo grounds are located north of the Pepsi Soccer Complex at 6320 N. Ohlman St. Purchase your tickets now!

The loveable and relatable characters are back again! The Mitchell A.C.T will perform "The Church Basement Ladies: In A Mighty Fortress Is Our Basement" on August 2nd-4th and 9th-10th. Fri/Sat shows start at 7:30 pm and Sunday shows start at 2 pm. Tickets are $25 to $30 in advance and you can purchase tickets two weeks before the opening date here.
