The Sunday Motoring Meets series is an all-are-welcome casual gathering of automotive enthusiasts hosted by FCP Euro at our very own Lime Rock Park. This is more than just cars and coffee - it's about enjoying automotive culture with like-minded enthusiasts at one of America's most beautiful and historic racetracks.

Unlike FCP Euro's typical Sunday Motoring Meets at Lime Rock, this one rounds out the weekend of the outstanding GRIDLIFE Circuit Legends festival

Can't make it to the festival? No worries - FCP Euro's Sunday Motoring Meet will feature some of the cars and stars from the main event, just not at speed.

Celebrating its 42nd year, the Lime Rock Historic Festival launches into action over Labor Day weekend with a 17-mile tour through the area with Thursday’s Vintage Race Car and Sports Car Parade. Friday, Saturday and Monday feature non-stop, on-track competition across a diverse set of historic racing classes.

On Sunday, the Lime Rock Concours and Gathering of the Marques display nearly 1,000 enthusiast cars and motorcycles arranged around the Lime Rock circuit.

ROSS MYERS DIVERSE FORD COLLECTION TO BE DISPLAYED

Ross Myers, a regular competitor in Historic Trans-Am and a long-time competitor at Lime Rock Park, is the benefactor of Boyertown, Pennsylvania-based 3 Dog Garage Museum and will bring 16 rare Ford-powered cars that will be on display throughout the weekend and during Sunday in The Park, including the Paul Newman-raced Daytona Prototype, Carrol Shelby’s championship-winning 1963 Competition Cobra 289 and several original historic Trans-Am cars.

REALTIME BRINGS LEGENDARY WORLD CHALLENGE CARS TO HF42

RealTime Racing, winners of 15 World Challenge Drivers’ Championships, will bring four of its turn-of-the-century World Challenge race cars to Lime Rock Park for the 42nd running the Historic Festival, August 30 – September 2. The cars are part of the Toyo Tires Turn-of-the-Century World Challenge Group created specifically for this year’s event.

RealTime owner Peter Cunningham will drive the team’s first-generation Acura TSX, which the team won three World Challenge Touring Car Championships; in 2005 and 2008 with Cunningham and in 2006 with Pierre Kleinubing. Click the link below to read more about RealTime Racing at HF42!

Technicians are the unsung heroes of racing at the Lime Rock Park Historic Festival. They do their job on the sidelines, helping to support the racers and crew by keeping their cars running smoothly. Without their skill and expertise, racing glory would be impossible.

The Piston Technician Award, presented by The Piston Foundation and Lime Rock Park, honors these indispensable individuals of historic racing and gives them the recognition they deserve for their hard work, commitment, and technical automotive expertise.

The Piston Technician Award has been presented annually at the Lime Rock Historic Festival since 2022. Past winners include Mike Marra of Automobile Associates in Canton, CT and Chris Kavaka of Vintage Racing Services, in Strafford, CT. Winners are nominated by the shops, teams, drivers, and car owners participating in the race weekend.

Join The Piston Foundation, Lime Rock Park and the racers of Historic Festival 42 in a pit lane ceremony at noon on Labor Day, Monday September 4th for the presentation of the 2024 Piston Technician Award to this year’s outstanding classic car technician.

The Piston Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and Lime Rock Park community partner. Piston helps young car enthusiasts jumpstart a career as a classic car technician.
