The winemakers start with an old-vine Zinfandel base, layering on dry-farmed Petite Sirah, old-vine Charbono, and mountain vineyard Syrah to create a complex and delicious blend. On the nose, aromas of violets, dried cinnamon, and white flowers mix with fresh cut blue herbs and a touch of barrel toast.

The palate is filled with black fruits, sweet currants, and pepper spice, with an enveloping masculinity of char and tannins from the Syrah, Charbono, and Petite Sirah.
