Meet Heather

Meet our Social Media Engagement Coordinator, Heather Sakai

Heather Sakai has been a member of the Bright Beginnings team since early 2022 serving in the role of Social Media Engagement Coordinator. Heather holds a Master of Science in Social Service Administration and a Master of Arts in Modern/Contemporary Dance from Case Western Reserve University. Heather has experience in social work/mood disorders research, marketing and social media, and dance instruction (for both children and adults, both in the United States and abroad). Heather is passionate about connecting people through social media and ensuring it's a safe place to ask questions, be vulnerable, and share both successes and struggles. Heather is the administrator for Cuyahoga Parents Connect and would love for you to join if you are a parent or caregiver of a child, aged birth to kindergarten, or are expecting a child.
