Family Fridays

As we prepare for another build season at Habitat McLean County, we want to introduce you to our newest partner families who will be building their new homes in 2023! Each Friday, we will highlight a new family, so you can get to know each of them and have the opportunity to volunteer alongside them and/or make a donation to help keep their home affordable.

Meet the Wilson Family

Ryan and Jennifer are lifelong residents of the Bloomington Normal area. They have 4 children. Jacob and Brian are both 17, Lexi and Bailey are 14.

Jennifer works at AFNI as an Insurance Subrogation Specialist and Ryan works at Walmart in Customer Service.

The family is involved in their church community at Crossroads Chapel in Bloomington.

Ryan loves to watch football, to travel and learning about history. Jennifer’s favorite past times include watching movies, traveling, and shopping. Jacob and Brian enjoy video games and hanging out with friends. Bailey’s favorite ways to spend her time include talking on the phone with her friends, shopping, cheer, being a TikTok content creator. Lexi spends her free time doing hair and makeup, reading, dance, and TikTok.

Building with Habitat means they will finally have a handicap accessible home. They look forward to having a safe environment to enjoy, and to work with our other partner families to achieve homeownership as well.

The Wilson Family will be building the Heroes of Habitat home.
