Celtic Music in the Wentworth House Garden

Rollinsford’s historic Colonel Paul Wentworth House will host the last of its summer Music in the Garden series on Thursday, August 15 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm when the O’Carolan Celtic Trio presents an evening of Celtic music. This program is free and open to the public, and no pre-registration is required.

The O’Carolan Celtic Trio is comprised of Cayt Norris on fiddle/violin, Mary Paul on Celtic harp, and Bob Paul on hammered dulcimer, all formerly members of the Angel Band. They will be performing a program of Celtic music, drawn primarily from the works of Turlough O’Carolan (1670-1735), the Blind Bard of Ireland.

The public is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a free evening of music in a garden setting. In case of rain, the concert will be held indoors at the Wentworth House.

Located on Water Street in Rollinsford, NH, the circa 1701 Wentworth House is maintained by the Association for Rollinsford Culture and History (ARCH) as an educational and cultural center for the community. For more information about this and other programs at the Wentworth House, consult the ARCH website at www.paulwentworthhouse.org.
