Community Family Caregiver Support Program Coordinator
Reverend Dr. Barbara Galloway-Lee holds a key role in the development, coordination and facilitation of Support Services for Family Caregivers. Rev. Galloway-Lee establishes support groups, provides training on such topics as, Mindful Meditation, and provides community outreach.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Galloway-Lee has built a wheelhouse of knowledge that includes community development, fund development, compacity building and program development. She has an outstanding legacy locally and is in demand to present workshops on Spiritual Care and Health Ministry nationwide.
Rev. Galloway-Lee is a retired Director for Pastoral Care Services, Kaiser Permanente , Oakland CA, and a past Director for Community Health Ministry for Summit Medical Center in Oakland, CA. Under her charismatic leadership she has received honors from the American Hospital Association, and the Circle of Distinction Award for Outstanding Achievement in Developing Innovative Partnerships.
Dr. Galloway-Lee has a strong "prophetic imperative sense" in and on her that has resulted her in receiving a, BSW, from Temple University, Masters in Counseling and Administration from Antioch College, Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from San Francisco Theological Seminary.
