QUICKBOOKS 2018 HAS BEEN RELEASED
QuickBooks 2018 was released to ProAdvisors and Accountants in early September and was released to the public on September 26, 2017.   While there are quite a few new features the most popular is the support of multiple monitors within QuickBooks.  As mentioned in the article (link below) it's always a good idea to wait a little until at least the first few Maintenance Releases have been issued to fix the bugs before you start using the software in your business.  Let us know if you have questions or you are interested in upgrading to the newest release of QuickBooks.

We've created a list of clients who will benefit greatly from this new app and we'll be contacting everyone in order of priority and needs.  If you are interested in starting right away and you haven't heard from me, don't hesitate to send an email requesting you be moved up on the list.
INTERNET SECURITY

I cannot think of another challenge to any and all businesses and individuals that is growing at the rate of our concern for internet security. Every direction in which we turn, we hear of internet hacking, security breaches and exposure to risks that come from places and people we can't see or stop.  The Equifax hack is the most recent in a growing list of massive exposure of personal information.  No doubt, your email and social media is full of information listing steps you can take and ways to mitigate the possible compromise and damage from this danger and others like it.

Clark Howard provides daily blogs and tweets regarding the newest hacks and scams currently threatening individuals and businesses, dangerous habits and practices that can put you at risk for exposure and other valuable tips and information.  He has also provided some valuable advice for protecting your future credit in light of the Equifax breech.  You can click on the link below to view his blogs.
