Fall Festival Pet Expo & Adopt-a-Thon

Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011

11am - 3pm

(Casual  Group Dog Walk Around County  Campus at 1pm)

DCACC Shelter

120 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton

Join us on September 17th for DCACC's Fall Festival Pet Expo & Adopt-a-Thon. With 45 rescues, shelters and pet suppliers slated to participate, there's something for everyone!

We've made it our goal (together with our rescue partners) to find homes for 100 homeless pets during this, the most exciting adoption event of the season!

To help achieve the goal of 100 animals adopted, the Friends of DCACC Foundation is making it possible for you to name your own adoption fee for ANY animal adopted from DCACC on Saturday, September 17th!  But wait, there's more...black cat & black kitten adoption fees are still 100% subsidized!

Admission is FREE!  Free and ample parking for guests and the general public is available on the east side of County Farm Rd.
in the 421 Administration Bldg. or Health Department lots.

All socialized, leashed and vaccinated pets are welcome to enjoy the Fall Festival Pet Expo with you.  Please note, for the safety of all animals involved, your dog will not be able to accompany you during your shelter tour.

Join DCACC's adoption dogs and volunteers for a casual 1-mile dog walk around the County campus at 1pm (no registration required).

You can also enjoy all that the DuPage Convalescent Center's Fall Festival has to offer including:

  • Bake sale
  • Craft sale
  • Childrens games & rides
  • Food
  • Raffles
  • Mum sale
  • Scarecrow patch
  • New & used book sale
  • Flea market
  • Huge garage sale
  • Car show
  • Entertainment
  • Silent auction and much, much more!

Download a Fall Festival Pet Expo & Adopt-a-Thon Flyer to share with family & friends!  Post at your favorite local jaunts & help us adopt out 100 pets this weekend!
