EDUCATION

Registration Now Open for Fall After School Programs!

Outdoor, Hands-on Education for all Ages

We offer a variety of Fall education programs, from after school and early release day options to high school internships. We invite toddlers with their caregivers to join us for Family Farm Chores where even our youngest farmers get a chance to care for our chickens, ducks, bunnies, and quail. Build community, learn farm and forestry skills, connect to the outdoors, and bring home fresh vegetables!

Land’s Sake works with the Weston Conservation Commission to thoughtfully harvest firewood on Town conservation land. Harvested cords are naturally seasoned over the spring/summer, then sold and delivered to Weston and neighboring towns in the fall. Mark your calendars!

SUPPORT

Thursday Volunteer Opportunity

Sign up to help in the fields Thusdays, from 10am-12pm!

Whether it’s weeding, removing invasive bugs, or trellising unwieldy plants, farming is very labor intensive. In our Thursday volunteer program, volunteers help with a different weekly field project. Sign up to be on the weekly Volunteer Brigade email, and receive info on the weekly project and logistics.

Pick Your Own Shishito Peppers

Shishito peppers, a farmer favorite, are now available for pick-your-own. These peppers love the summer heat and abundant sun. Although they are mostly a mild, tasty pepper (even a bit sweet) occasionally you'll come across one that's got a little kick. If you haven't tried them yet, we highly recommend giving them a taste! Just a little olive oil, coarse salt, and a few minutes on the grill are all you need to enjoy these delightful peppers.
