Chair's Message

This issue of our newsletter highlights two reasons why I am excited and optimistic about the future of our department. First, our young faculty continue to shine and receive high visibility research grants, and second our female students and alumni are garnering national recognition for their talents. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment for all our students and also our young faculty. Speaking of the latter, we have a new faculty position open in the area of autonomous systems this year. If you're interested in becoming part of the UCI family, consider applying.
