Fall for Blairsville-Union County
Cool mountain breezes, leaves crunching under your feet, the vistas filled with vibrant colors. There is truly no better place to spend a fall season than in Union County, Georgia.

As in the past, this fall is full of activities that make the season special.  Festivals highlighting mountain arts & crafts, music, and traditional foods from the North Georgia Mountains are abundant.

Fall is the perfect season for outdoor activities. Take some time to hike the Appalachian Trail, visit our beautiful cascading waterfalls, go boating on Lake Nottely, or fish in one of our pristine trout streams. In town, and along the local byways, visit bustling shops or stop for a bite to eat at one of our restaurants and you can be assured of a warm, friendly welcome and good food.
Reservations are already being made at local motels, campgrounds, cabins, and bed & breakfasts. Many of our accommodations members offer discounts so be sure to check the Hot Deals on the Chamber website: www.VisitBlairsvilleGA.com.

Whether you plan to make a day trip, take a long weekend, or spend a week, make plans to enjoy watching the mountain colors turn from dark green to golden yellow, deep red, and brilliant orange. You'll be glad you did and we will be glad to see you!

Union County takes pride in our agricultural roots. In 2007, County Commissioner Lamar Paris organized a committee to oversee the development of a local market that would give our growers, big and small, a place to sell their goods. It was decided that artisans, beekeepers to bakers and potters to painters, could also sell their handmade goods. So when we boast "Homegrown and Handmade", you know that you are purchasing products that have been produced right here in this area!
