Dear Members of the Manhasset Education Association,
Nominations for Faculty Representatives
serving in the 2023 - 2025 school years
will take place
from Monday, May 1 through Wednesday, May 17
(end of school day).
Munsey Park School has 3 positions open.
Jesse Cohen, Mel Muller, Patrick Dillon, Kim Viscovich, Patricia Cash, and Danielle Mora are returning for the second year of
their two year term.
Send Munsey Park nominations to Cheryl Azoff.
Shelter Rock School has 2 positions open.
Laurie Swaine, Clarie Maina, Phyllis Parisi-Ellis, Andrea Fassenfeld, Stacey Weinstein, and Beth Van Cott are returning for the second year of their two year term.
Send Shelter Rock nominations to Steve Sirof.
The Secondary School has 11 positions open.
Anne Tear, Angela Ferguson, Beth Hsu, Kimberly Cosenza, and Cassandra Mercurio are returning for the second year of their two year term.

"...All active members shall be notified of the nomination results and when the elections will take place.”
Notification of nominations will occur Thursday, May 18, 2023.
"All active members within each building may vote for their respective representatives.
The election will be held in all four buildings on the same day, but no sooner than one week following nominations.
The election will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2023
(Wednesday after Memorial Day)
Voting will take place in person at designated voting places in each building.
Munsey Park - Main Hallway, Outside Main Office (8 a.m. - 8:50 a.m.)
Shelter Rock - Outside Computer Lab A (7:30 a.m. - 8:20 a.m.)
Secondary School - Outside High School Media Center (7:18 a.m. - 8:08 a.m.)
Election results will be announced later that same day.
"...newly elected representatives shall take their seats at the June meeting of the Representative Assembly.”
This will occur at the June 14, 2023 RA meeting.
