HS & MS Youth Events

May 5 - Confirmation Sunday & Flower Fundraiser Order Pick Up - Youth will help unload the truck starting at 9 am and then assist with order pick up.

May 10 - Inclusive Game Night for teens & adults with disabilities at FVPC from 6-8 pm.

May 19 - End of Year Gathering for HS & MS Youth

Children's Events

May 5 - Sunday School Family Feedback and Fellowship - Families gather following Sunday school to provide feedback, input for future planning, and complete registration forms for next school year.

HS & MS Youth Sunday School

In the Youth 9am class we are watching the Chosen TV series. Some weeks we will watch episodes from the series and reflect on them. Other weeks we will discuss the Pastor's sermon scripture. We will continue to serve breakfast during this time. The last day of HS & MS Sunday school will be May 19th.

Flower Fundraiser

Flower orders will be ready for pick up this Sunday May 5th , 11:15 to 12:15.

High School & Middle School Youth will assist with unloading the delivery truck and sorting orders during the 9am class. We could use lots of help. If your youth is able to assist please text Nicole Fleshman at 630.205.5810.

On Sunday, May 5th there will be a special Confirmation Sunday celebration. After a year of dedicated, preparation and discernment, we are blessed to confirm four young members of our faith community as they grow in their faith journey.

Shop N' Share Countryside in Elburn

We are excited to share that we are teaming up with Countryside Flower Shop, Nursery and Garden Center, Elburn for a Shop N Share Fundraiser on Tuesday, May 7th! Present the below flyer (link below) to the cashier and 18% of your pre-tax purchase will be donated to FVPC!

New! Inclusive Game Night

The Disabilities Ministry will be hosting a monthly game night for teens and adults with disabilities the 2nd Friday of each Month. The next game night is Friday May, 10th from 6-8 pm. End of Year Party

Middle School and High School Youth are invited to an End of Year Party! The party will be at The Curry Family's home, 1S830 Green Road, Elburn from 4 to 6 pm. We will meet there. If you have questions please contact Kelly Pearce kellyhpearce@gmail.com or 630.723.7938.

Volunteers are a vital part of the Disabilities Ministry. We are looking for adult volunteers to assist at our Monthly Inclusive Game Nights & in our Disability Ministry Classroom on Sunday mornings during worship. Training will be provided. Summer Tutoring Program

This will be the third summer the Children’s Ministry Committee is hosting a free tutoring program at FVPC. We look forward to partnering with families and schools to support the development of confident and capable learners in our community.

We need tutors! If you are interested in registering your child for tutoring or signing up to be a tutor yourself, contact Dorene Tieche for more information!

All families are invited to come and spend the morning splashing in the water at the Otter Cove Splash Pad! FVPC has rented out the splash pad area between 9:30am and 11:00am so we have the whole area to ourselves. This is a free event until 11am, if you would like to stay later and explore the rest of the water park you can purchase a ticket at your convenience.

This is a super fun way to get out of the house and get to know other families and friends at FVPC. The more the merrier! Snacks and water will be provided. This event is organized by Dorene Tieche.

These are NEW groups. So if you will need to rejoin the group at the links below in order to stay connected. You can download the app on the apple and google stores on your phone. This is a great way to get immediate information if anything changes last minute or if you have any questions about an event of activity!

High School Group is meant for Students and parents.

MS Group is meant for parents. Students are welcome to join with parent permission.
