Volunteers Needed for Children's Fall Sunday School

We are seeking volunteers for teaching and assisting Sunday school this fall.

End of Year Party

New! Inclusive Game Night

The Disabilities Ministry will be hosting a monthly game night for teens and adults with disabilities the 2nd Friday of each Month. The next game night is Friday June, 14th from 6-8 pm. Volunteers are a vital part of the Disabilities Ministry. We are looking for adult volunteers to assist at our Monthly Inclusive Game Nights & in our Disability Ministry Classroom on Sunday mornings during worship. Training will be provided. June's theme is "God Made Us All." The lessons focus on loving others and celebrating our differences and similarities.

In July, the theme is "We Have Many Feelings." The lessons teach the children to recognize the many different feelings we experience and how God can help us through challenging feelings.

The theme for August is "I Can Pray Anywhere." The lessons emphasize how prayer can be part of our day anytime and anywhere.

Summer Tutoring Program

This will be the third summer the Children’s Ministry Committee is hosting a free tutoring program at FVPC. We look forward to partnering with families and schools to support the development of confident and capable learners in our community.

We need tutors! If you are interested in registering your child for tutoring or signing up to be a tutor yourself, contact Dorene Tieche for more information!

All families are invited to come and spend the morning splashing in the water at the Otter Cove Splash Pad! FVPC has rented out the splash pad area between 9:30am and 11:00am so we have the whole area to ourselves. This is a free event until 11am, if you would like to stay later and explore the rest of the water park you can purchase a ticket at your convenience.

This is a super fun way to get out of the house and get to know other families and friends at FVPC. The more the merrier! Snacks and water will be provided. This event is organized by Dorene Tieche.
