Join us, Sat., April 20, 2024, as we celebrate the grand re-opening of the new Meadowbrook Lake Neighborhood Playground! Play on the new playground equipment and connect with friends and neighbors! Light snack will be available for those in attendance. Mayor Pribonic will cut the ribbon at 11:00 AM!
Limited parking is available at the park. Please park in the surrounding area side streets and businesses.

Bulldog Bags, Inc. 2024 Duck Race
As part of the celebration, Bulldog Bags, Inc. is having their 2024 Duck Race! Ducks are $2 each and there is no limit to the number of ducks you can purchase. 25% of the overall duck sales will go to the person with the numbered duck that crosses the finish line first. All other proceeds go directly to Bulldog Bags, Inc. to fight food insecurity. Pick your lucky duck here! Ducks will also be available for purchase the day of the event. Ducks drop into the water at 12:00 PM.

All the necessary supplies will be provided, ensuring you have everything you need to unleash your creativity and design a stunning decorative sign. Plus, you'll leave with a finished product that's sure to impress all who enter your home.

Teaching Our Youth Safety
Spots still open for this, not to miss, education program!
Safety Town is a safety education program for children who will be entering Kindergarten in the Fall. Safety Town students are taught topics such as: fire safety, safety belts, pedestrian safety, bike safety, bus safety, personal safety, and playground safety. Stow Youth Services coordinates this program along with two teachers and teen volunteers.

The City of Stow invites its residents to volunteer and assist with trash pickup along major roads in the city! Collecting trash along our roadways will help prevent pollution from entering into our storm drains which lead to our local streams, rivers and lakes!

Leashing your dog in public areas is an important part of living peacefully in Stow. It's a simple act that has many positive outcomes:
- Prevents bites and fights.
- Keeps your dog safe from traffic and wildlife.
- Allows adults and children who are fearful of dogs to feel secure.
Remember, leashing your dog protects them, other animals, and people!

Outdoor Dedicated Pickleball Play for Active Seniors 55+ (FREE - No Registration Required)

Outdoor Open Play - All Ages
Courts are lined with both tennis and pickleball courts and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To play pickleball on the courts, roll-in, mobile nets are used.

Stow Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Position Open - Ward 2 | |
Stow Mayor John Pribonic is seeking a Stow resident that has an interest in improving the Stow City Government, to fill a vacancy on the City’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. An appointment to this vacancy is made by the Mayor and confirmed by Stow City Council.
A Stow resident from Ward Two of the City is needed to fill this vacancy. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board serves in a voluntary capacity, and works closely with the Director of Parks and Recreation to recommend general policy to the City administration, Mayor and City Council, with regard to the management of recreation facilities, programs, and parkland.
The Board is comprised of five members with 5-year terms. Each of the four wards of the City is represented on the board, with the fifth member being at-large and appointed by the Board of Education. The current vacancy is for an unexpired term that runs until January 2, 2027. The Board meets quarterly, with potential monthly work sessions held at 4 PM on Mondays or Thursdays, at various city and park locations. All meetings are livestreamed.
