The SEC's Division of Trading and Markets plans to consider proposing new rules for exchanges where equity-based swaps trade. Rules would address how registration and execution requirements apply to the derivatives when they trade internationally. The SEC also plans to consider proposing regulations to mitigate conflicts of interest.
