WHOM DO YOU ASK?
________________________
When you pray for something who do you ask? Some pray to the Virgin Mary and ask her for it. I perceive that most born again believers ask Jesus, but how did Jesus instruct us to pray?
In John 15:16b Jesus said, “…ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it [to] you.” All we receive comes from the Father.
You might say, but John 14:13-14 says, “Whatsoever you ask in My name, that will I do [so] that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
Then in John 14:16 it says, “I will pray [to] the Father, and He shall give [to] you another Comforter.”
Jesus never said for us to pray to Him. It is the Father who decides all things. It is the Father who gives gifts to mankind. What part does Jesus have in it?
We pray to our heavenly Father and not to anybody else. We ask our petitions in Jesus’ name. The Father then will grant or deny our prayer and then tells Jesus the request is granted. Then, Jesus will do it and give it to us by His mighty power. He cannot [or will not] do it unless He hears it from His Father.
Yes, it is Jesus’ power and authority by which it is done, but only as the Father has determined it. When Jesus performs it, that gives glory to His Father. In verse 13 it says, “that the Father may be glorified in [and through] the Son.”
So, the next time you go to God to ask something, make sure you are addressing it to your heavenly Father, not to Jesus or any other person. Ask your petition in the name of Jesus, (i.e., I come to you Father, in the name of Jesus) then the Father is glorified by Jesus when you get your answer.
This is the scriptural way to bring any petition before the Father’s throne. If we pray “wrong,” will we get our petition? That is not for me to say. The Father will determine that matter.
Jesus told us in John 5:19 that He only says or does what He hears from the Father. He does not act independently. Everything he does and what we pray for comes from the Father.

THE ALABASTER BOX
____________________
The story is told in each gospel of a woman of the city of Bethany that was called a sinner that came to a Pharisee’s house to see Jesus. (See Luke 7:36-40.) The Pharisee was Simon the Leper who was also Judas Iscariot’s father. He had invited Jesus and the disciples to dinner. This woman was called a “sinner” by Simon, and he was displeased that she was there. This woman was Mary, the sister of Lazarus. Lazarus had been raised from the dead and was also there.
Mary brought with her an alabaster box with spikenard in it. The spikenard was a very expensive perfume costing a years’ wages. Most women in those days had a box like this that they saved for their wedding night. They would pour it upon themselves and present themselves to their husbands. It had a sweet-smelling savor. Mary took no thought of the expense. She loved Jesus so much that she broke open the box and poured it upon his head. She anointed him with the perfume out of her love for him. The entire house was full of the wonderful aroma that the spikenard gave off.
Simon the Pharisee was upset with this act. The very thought of her touching the “messiah” or a prophet disgusted him. He didn’t understand her act of love. Mary’s deep love for Jesus (not a sinful lustful love) caused her to take her most precious possession and give it to her “Lord.” She not only poured it out on his head she also anointed his feet with the perfume and then washed them with her hair. Tears fell in abundance out of this act of love. She gave him “her all.”
The alabaster box sounds like a simple thing my friends, but it was not simple. It was Mary telling Jesus that all that she was and had belonged to him. She poured herself out at his feet.
Little did she know that soon Jesus would be broken like that alabaster box and would pour his life out for her and for us also. In Isaiah 53:12b it says, “and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death….” In Ephesians 5:2 we are told, “And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour.”
Jesus poured his life out for sinners. When we receive his precious gift, then we are filled up with his Spirit, and become like new alabaster boxes, ready to pour out our lives for him because of our love for him.

PROPHETIC WORDS AND EXHORTATIONS AND INSPIRATION
to see some of the prophetic words
that have been given through this ministry.
| | | |
The Lord said share this again. I wonder if many would have read this before COVID hit if they would have prepared. I sense something else is coming and we must not take this prophetic word lightly. Be prepared!
Prophetic Word
As Given to Helen Sanders
November 24, 2018
Rise up, rise up, rise up saith the Lord. For this is not the hour to be complacent. This is not the hour to sit back and watch. This is the hour of repentance, and fasting and weeping saith the Lord, for there is about to be great change saith the Lord. This is the hour that the enemy would like to overtake you and trample you down. This is the hour that you must rise up, and put on the whole armour of God and take the sword of the spirit which is the word of God and fight the fight of faith. You must be prepared for this hour saith the Lord. Yet many have been complacent in their walk and have sat back and not done what I have led them to do. They are the ones in the valley of dry bones. They are the ones with the dry spirits, and dead works. Yes, they are they ones. Do not let this time be a time of complacency for there will be soon a time of darkness like no other. There will be a swift change, and many will be caught off guard as the enemy sweeps through your land, your businesses, your homes, and you! Do not be complacent. Rise up and take your places as warriors for the Most High. I have declared that this is not a time to be complacent. You must come into my war room and get your assignment and prepare yourself for this time. It is not a time of ease. It is not a time of reluctance. It is a time to take all that you have learned and put it into action. Come into my war room and learn your assignment this very hour. Take this time to prepare yourself in spirit, soul, and body for there will be a shaking like never before. It will shake everything to the very core and all that will be left standing will be those that have fully trusted in me. Cast aside every weight of distraction that would keep you from being focused on me saith the Lord. Cast aside all doubt and fear. Cast aside all wrongly motivated plans and concentrate on me and my assignment for this hour. Much terror is about to break forth and you must be ready. Do not make your decisions based on your circumstances but base your decisions on the leading of my Spirit. Yes there will be gross darkness but this is the time for you to rise and shine and let the glory of God be upon you to bring many out of darkness. You must, again I say must, rise up in my power and strength and go forth and do the assignment that I have called you to do. Do not look at the circumstances before you arise. Listen like you have never listened before and know that I am with you in this hour. I am with you to take you through this hour. Many lives shall be destroyed because they did not take heed and listen, but you my child, I have confidence in that you will listen and be spared of those things on the horizon. Listen, listen, listen, and rise up and go forth in my power saith the Lord. You will overcome!

APOSTLE PAT MURRAY
PROPHETIC EXHORTATION
5-30-2024
Yes, it’s true you don’t particularly have to STAY where you STARTED; But you DO need to BLOOM where you were PLANTED. So just remember IF you are PLANTED in GOOD soil then don’t try in anyway to uproot yourself; But you just STAY there and BLOOM where you were planted

Thought For Today
My heart overflows with gratitude for all that Jesus has taken me through. As I look back, I wasn’t sure how I was going to survive. It started out with my marriage of 33 years ending in divorce and the year ended with my mom dying from leukemia. I had a rough year. There are no winners in divorce, only a huge gaping hole that only God can heal. I know that many will disagree with me but that is and was my reality. One year, and two significant tragedies in my life. I was a mess.
You see it sounds really bad. And it was. But God had another plan. Besides spending a lot of time at church, I read my Bible, I spent a lot of time talking to God and listening to the Holy Spirit. It was during that time that I began to journal. And I began to write the more I wrote the more I was being affirmed in my writing. God had a plan.
So your life can be a chaotic mess but When you decide to seek Him out and acknowledge that His ways are better than your ways, He will show you the plan He has for your life and the path to walk on. Hallelujah

One Truth! HCC
And the Father made everything, so easy for him.
But just like children, we fail to listen, we want our own way,
We make our own Gods. We make our own truths.
Thousands of years later, have we learned?
No, we have not. We have the best of gifts, God gave us.
A Savior! Come to him today and repent your sins.
All of us are sinners, but to feel bad for what we’ve done,
That is what we need to do. To come to Christ, is the answer.
Life’s not easy but to come to Jesus is the answer of
A lifetime, right into Eternity. Where beauty, love, and joy,
Await, along with the Savior, Christ Jesus.
