THE FIVEFOLD MINISTRY
The giftings of the fivefold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) should have one purpose, and that is the teaching and equipping of the saints until we come into unity.

FOLLOW ME
_____________________
During Jesus’ earthly ministry he often said to certain people, “follow me.” Examples are found in Matthew 4:19 as he called Peter and Andrew; in John 1:43 when he called Philip; Matthew 8:22 to an unnamed scribe; and another man in Luke 9:50; and doubtless many others.
Jesus gave them no promises of temporal [earthly] reward, security, or comfort. They were simply to trust him and follow. The promise he gave them was eternal life. In John 10:27 Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them [who they are], and they follow me,” and in vs. 28a “I give unto them eternal life…”
However, Jesus does have certain expectations [or requirements] of those who follow him. The main one is found in John 15:10-14, where he said in vs. 10, “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love…” and verse 12, “This is my commandment, that ye love one another…” Then in verse 14, “Ye are my friends, IF ye do whatsoever I command you.” This is emphasized by his words in John 13:34 when he instructed them with, “A new commandment I give unto you [above and beyond the law of Moses] that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” (He repeated this for emphasis of extreme importance.)
If you love Jesus and follow him, there are other things he has instructed to those who choose to follow him. One such thing is found in Matthew 28:19-20 where he said, “Go… teach all nations” Then also in John 14:12 we are told to do all his works. Those works would include heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, preach the gospel, and so forth. But most important is to show forth his love and to live a holy life (clean and righteous).
Following Jesus is not a piece of cake. It takes love and a firm resolve and firm commitment. It is to be our lifestyle. It is worth whatever we must go through because the reward for following him is eternal.

FAITH BEGINS WITH THE FIRST STEP
_______________________
I remember the day that my first child took her first steps. They were short steps, but they were the beginning of change for her and me. It was an exciting moment for me, and for her. She soon learned how to walk but it all started with those first steps.
Faith works the same way. We do not have great faith until we first take those baby steps of little faith. Many never get beyond the baby steps of faith because of fear. They are afraid they will fail. Just like my child fell often when she first started to walk, so will we fall in developing our faith walk. Remember, it is a lifetime journey.
What a child learns is they must get up and try again. We encourage them to “come to mama or daddy” and this gives them confidence. Likewise, our faith walk grows as we see the Heavenly Father bidding us “come to me” and making the move toward him.
Just as Jesus saw Peter sinking in the water because he took his eyes of him, he reaches out a hand of love and saves us when we fail. But our life does not end with that failure. Through these tests and failures, we learn how to do the right thing. Eventually, if we do not give up, our faith grows. Then one day it is so strong that we are the ones that help others in their faith walk.
Remember, faith starts with the first step toward God, and then it grows. Do not be discouraged if you are not a faith giant right away. It takes time to develop faith just like it takes time for a child to learn to walk. Keep in mind what it says in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him [God}….” God is pleased when we grow in faith, so this should be motivation enough for each of us to keep growing in faith.
God is saying, come my child, I am reaching out my hand to help. You can do it!

PROPHETIC WORD
AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS
Just as in the days of Noah, the warnings have gone out. Many have seen the ark being built, which is my body, but have refused to be a part of it. Many have chosen the ways of the world and they shall reap the consequences of their choices. For I would say that the hour is at hand when the door of my ark shall be shut and there will not be any more chances for those that have refused to listen. Oh, my children there shall be such a time as no one has ever seen. For the hearts of men have turned cold towards the things of God. There will be a great shift coming shortly where the divide between those that are for me and those that are against me will become plainer and plainer. Gross darkness will cover the earth for this is the day and hour of the valley of decision. There will be many that flood to my throne and it will be a time of great cleansing, then the door will be shut. Prepare yourselves my children for there is about to be great persecution for those that come to me. The darkness will become greater than it has ever been. Many will be totally sold out to control by demonic spirits and will have no regrets for their choices. This is not the hour to play games. This is the hour to come into my presence and receive the strength that is provided by my grace to endure these times. For the warning has gone out over and over and many will perish because they did not hear. This is not the hour for you to fear. For have I not said that these things would come? This is the hour where your preparation will maintain you through the darkness. This is the hour where you will hear my voice and follow it to a place of safety. There are many traps being set for you, my child. Watch and pray for the time is at hand saith the Lord.

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION
5-1-2024
There’ll be a CHOICE to make most EVERYDAY; And it involves the THINGS you DO and SAY. Just don’t forget the CHOICE you MAKE at the present time; Will end up MAKING you in TIME to COME. So have a fantastically blessed day; And pray that you’ll always make WISE CHOICES. Just remember those CHOICES you MAKE today; Can and will somehow RESULT in MAKING you or BREAKING you tomorrow.

Thought For Today
We have all come across a situation in our life that reeks of unfairness and hurt. There are, for some of us, indescribable occurrences that have happened to us, that cut into our heart and spirit so deep that we were sure it would never be healed.
This is hard for me to write because I have walked this path of unforgiveness myself and I know the pain of letting go. But I also know that everyone can forgive even when it feels like you can’t.
Some things we can forgive right away. But there are other times that are not so easy. Those are the times that you have to keep saying “forgiveness is a choice”.
Forgiveness has been compared to peeling an onion. It is peeled one layer at a time. It can be a process. It can happen instantaneously or it can happen in steps. You must begin the journey. That is where saying: Forgiveness is a choice and I choose to forgive will begin. The benefits of forgiveness are peace of mind and a new found joy. Because as you forgive, Jesus is there replacing the dirty old garments with fresh, clean and new garments. You don’t have to go through it alone. Jesus will be with you every step of the way. If you want someone to go with you through the process, I am here. You will never be the same. God bless each of you.
Matthew 18:21-22 NIV
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?”
Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but 70 times 7.”
Matthew 6:14-15 NIV from the Sermon On The Mount.
It was at the end of the Lord’s Prayer that Jesus taught: For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive you.
Mark 11:25 NIV
Jesus was teaching and He said, “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Rhythm! HCC
How is the rhythm in your life? Do you walk,
To the music of Christ Jesus?
With good rhythm, when you face trials,
Gods beat picks you up. It keeps you marching,
With the rhythm going on. This beat, this rhythm of God,
Is the best of blessings, for without this rhythm,
Nothing good happens. This beat of love is a richness,
A richness you can give to others.
The heartbeat, the rhythm of life with Christ,
Brings smiles, brings tenderness,
Brings hope, joy, and peace. Keep marching,
Keep the rhythm in your life.
