ANGELIC HELP AND PROTECTION

Psalm 91 gives us perspective on those of God’s people, (verse 1) NKJV) “who dwells in the (intimate) secret place of the Most High…” Verse 9 says, “Because you have made the LORD…your dwelling place,” verse 10 says, “No evil shall befall you…”

Why? Verse 11 says, “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep (and protect) you in all your ways.” Verse 12 says, “In their hands they shall bear (lift) you up (to prevent any harm against you).”

The Amplified Version of Psalm 91:11-12a says, “For He will command his angels in regard to you, to protect and defend and guard you in all your ways… They will lift you up in their hand.”

Angelic protection is for those whose heart is unto the Lord. It may be that every person has a guardian angel whether they are a believer or unbeliever, but this promise of many angels to protect, or help, or assist, is just specifically for the believers. It includes miraculous interventions on our behalf.

My wife Helen wrote about such intervention earlier this week (Read Here). It is clear that God’s army of angels intervened on our behalf earlier and escorted our car when it was overheated this week.

He will do that also for you, his faithful child. Call upon him when you are in need, and He will command his angels to come to your aid.

IT INCREASES YOUR FACE VALUE

We have heard the old cliché that says, “smile, God loves you,” but there is another adage that is something to think about. It is this: “Smile. It increases your face value.” Yes, smiling can change your entire day.

I was speaking to a non-believer recently and even this person said that people have become so unhappy and are so full of offense and anger. It seems that the slightest thing “sets people off.” I had to agree. This is true in the “world” but it is also true in the church.

There are so many chaotic things going on that cause one to lose their peace. The reason this happens is they are looking at the circumstances instead of unto the Lord. Our peace does not come from others; it comes from God.

There are so many opportunities to laugh at ourselves. Just looking in the mirror can bring a chuckle if we think about it.

A bad hair day? Well, at least you have hair. 😊 Car broke down? Well at least you can walk. 😊 Out of toilet paper? Well, there are always leaves. 😊

Laughter brings so much joy into the atmosphere. I think it is time to laugh a lot more. If you do not have something to laugh about, then make up something. 😊

Remember, it takes a lot more muscles to frown than laugh. It just might be the reason some of us have wrinkles 😊

In Psalm 16:2 it speaks of Israel’s promise to return to their land. It says, “Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, ‘The LORD hath done great things for them.’”

God wants us to enjoy our lives my friends. It pleases him to see you laugh. It might just be what brings you out of bondage. So, remember, smile, it increases your face value.

Speak life over yourself. Some of you have cursed yourself with your words. Stop speaking defeat. Stop speaking illness. Stop speaking lack. God has given us a bible full of blessings! Speak those over yourselves. Watch your words and you will see change coming in your life and those you love. Remember, "Stinkin' thinkin' leads to sinkin' And when the praise goes up the power comes down. You can do it!

Have you sometimes felt as if everyone including God has left you totally alone? We read in 2 Chronicles 32:31b how in Biblical times some of God’s children must have felt that same way. “God left him (Hezekiah) alone to test him or to “try him so that He (Hezekiah) could know everything that was in his heart to do”. Indeed in today’s time God will allow us His children to be set aside IF…Just for a season. In fact, God could be doing this to one of you now in order that He may test you so that YOU can see where you stand and where your priorities in life really are. After all, it’s you and I who needs to know our hearts for God already knows them all so very well. So for now let’s remember this so that we too can know our own hearts; For it’s a good thing as it will help to keep us on the right track with our hearts in the right place! Make the best of where you're walking today...For it may be testing and preparing you for where you'll be walking tomorrow! Gods got this..Trust Him!
