THE FIVEFOLD MINISTRY
The giftings of the fivefold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) should have one purpose, and that is the teaching and equipping of the saints until we come into unity.
We pray that this newsletter and its contents that we share will help you on your daily journey with Christ, causing you to grow in the ways of the Lord.
If our ministry has blessed you please consider supporting us with your giving. Thank you!

THE POWER FROM FASTING AND PRAYER
PART 2
Let us now look at one example from each the Old and New Testaments that had tremendous impact from prayer and fasting, namely Moses and Jesus.
Moses had a direct and personal line of communication with Jehovah, with the Father. He fasted 40 days and nights, not once, but twice. Miracle working power was given to him as God worked wonders through him. Twice, when there was no water in the wilderness, he extracted enough water from a rock to give to over two million people plus herds of animals. Many other miracles came through him.
Moses was considered to be the greatest of all prophets of the Old Testament up to the time of Jesus and John the Baptist. As Moses led God’s people forty years, neither their clothes nor their shoes wore out. They were also miraculously fed with manna and quail.
Let us now consider Jesus. He was (is) God in human flesh, yet He chose to live out his life on earth through His humanity and not through His godhead. How did He accomplish this?
After being baptized by John, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where he fasted and prayed for forty days and nights. It is there where He heard the Father and the Father’s full plan. It was there that He gained strength and power for the ministry that lay ahead of Him. This fasting and prayer took him far beyond the strength of his humanity. It launched His ministry for the Kingdom of heaven.
Throughout His ministry years He continued periodically to retreat at night to the mountains alone in solitude to fast and pray. This kept Him “recharged.”
In our next lesson, we shall look at some of the specific benefits derived from fasting and prayer. The list may not be entirely complete, but these benefits will be backed up by scripture, and possibly a little added from my own personal experience.
Stay tuned for the ride.

RECOMPENSE
We know according to scripture that a Christian is not saved by their works, but they are rewarded by what they do after salvation. Matthew 16:27 says, “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
Works are defined as being either gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or stubble but they will all be tried by fire. In 1 Corinthians 3 Paul writes to the church at Corinth that came from a very worldly background. He speaks of Jesus being the foundation that everything is built upon in verse 11, then goes on to say in verses 12-15, “12 Now if any man build upon this foundation (Jesus, the foundation) gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest (openly show) for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”
Everything we do will go through the fire and only the first three, gold, silver, and precious stones which represent our works, will remain. Our motives in serving Jesus will determine what happens when they are tested by fire. Did we do it out of a heart of love for the Lord, or selfish ambition? The fire will show us our motives.
These of course are eternal rewards. But what about here and now? There is a promise in Proverbs 12:31. It says, “Behold, the righteous (those in right standing with God) shall be recompensed (rewarded) in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.”
God rewards obedience now and in the future. God rewards faithfulness now and in the future. God rewards us for living righteously, not only now, but in the future kingdom. Everything done for God is never in vain my friends. We do not do these things for rewards, but because we do them out of a heart of love, we will be rewarded. Stand strong and do not give up! It will be worth it when we see Jesus and hear, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

A PROPHETIC WORD
AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS
For, have I not said in my word that I would lead you? Have I not said that I would lead you into paths of righteousness? Have I not said that I would lead you beside the still waters my child? Oh, yes, my child, I desire to lead you. I have desired that you follow me and see what I would show you. For I have much to show you of what I have prepared for you. The path that I would take you on will have many curves. There will be things that would cause you to fear but know that I am beside you. If I were to tell you all about the path, I am sure that you would cringe and say “Why, Lord? Why must I go down this path? Surely, there is an easier way, Lord.” But, my child, the easy way is not the way for you. You have been chosen to rise above the things that would bring fear to you and others, and the only way to do this is to go down the path I have chosen. I would say this, that as you go down this path, you will become stronger than you were before you went down it. I would say that the refiner’s fires will be hot on this path, but if you follow my lead, then you will come through as gold, silver, and precious stones that only come forth through the fiery trials. The only way is to follow me. The only way to grow is to follow me. You will not remain the same person as you go down this path that I lead you on. I can assure you that the changes that will take place will bring you to a place of peace, rest, and safety, saith the Lord. It is your choice, my child, to take the lead or follow me. I await your answer.

APOSTLE PAT MURRAY
PROPHETIC EXHORTATION
1-18-2024
Perhaps you’ve noticed the going seems to be getting a little too easy for you at times. If so, just BEWARE; For you could very well be headed downhill in the WRONG direction. Remember Jonah just happened to "find" a ship going where he THOUGHT he wanted and needed to go. In fact, he was thinking the ship had showed up for him at just the right time. However, it did NOT mean that it was an "Open Door" from God for him. (Jonah 1) In today’s world we too must keep in mind that; Satan also has OPEN doors available to us…But at the WRONG place and at the WRONG time. So be careful and don’t ever think that just because there’s an OPEN door; That it’s always a "God door" for you. NOT so! This is one reason why sincere people should not only seek God for His wisdom in a matter; But His Word also tells us to seek other wise counsel in Proverbs 11: 14. “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety”. So you see, it’s never a good thing to to have a “Lone Ranger” mentality; As it could cause one to make life changing decisions…Without the needed advice of their spiritual covering and/or other trusted friends. Just always remember those wise folks were put in your life to be a safety net; And to help in times of need and decision making. So beware of wide open doors; For you just might be a Jonah and find yourself headed DOWNHILL fast in the WRONG DIRECTION. Now don’t forget that God places those roadblocks and warning signs in our lives; To let us know we're going the wrong way OR at the wrong time. Have yourself a really blessed day and pause to; Prayerfully and carefully pray about right ways, right doors, right places, right faces and right times for your life.

Opposites Attract! HCC
Have you ever thought, God made love for us,
To be attracted to the opposite personality,
Of whom we are.” Opposites attract”.
Is that what it is for you?
Who would think that would happen, out of the blue!
The balance of each other,
To give what the other does not have.
That’s Gods love to help each one of us,
To brighten our lives, by sharing each other’s gifts.
I smile to think of my life.
How God has matched the both of us.
We both are truly different. But love was there!
We are opposites attracted!
