The giftings of the fivefold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) should have one purpose, and that is the teaching and equipping of the saints until we come into unity.

WE ARE GOD’S HEIRS

Romans 8:14 and 16 (NKJV) says, “For as many as are led by the by the [Holy] Spirit of God, these are the sons of God… The Spirit Himself bears witness with our [human] spirit that we are the children of God.”
Verse 17 and 15b further says, “and if children [of God], then [we are] heirs – heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ…[because] you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out “Abba [Daddy], {and] Father.”
We were once held captive by Satan, but through the redemption in Christ, we have been taken from Satan’s family and, through the Holy Spirit with Christ, the Heavenly Father has adopted us as His cherished sons and daughters.
We are now heirs of the Father, and everything Jesus has inherited also becomes our inheritance forever.
What did Jesus inherit? To begin with, He inherited the Kingdom of Heaven and sits in heaven’s throne room with Father [Jahh, Yahh]. He also inherited all power in heaven and on earth. He lives eternally, and we will also.
That is quite an inheritance, isn’t it? Verse 17 does give a caveat. It says, “…if so be that we suffer with [Christ].” Jesus told us that the world under Satan’s influence would hate us and make life a difficult challenge. We must stand firm on our faith regardless of whatever comes to us. It is “the fellowship of His sufferings” which Paul counted as a privilege to bear, just as Jesus had borne it.
But what a glorious inheritance it is that awaits us. It will be worth it all when we see and are joined with Jesus.

A MERRY HEART

In Proverbs 17:22 it says, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
It is so important to have laughter in your life. It is medicine! There is always something to laugh about. Good clean jokes can bring laughter and laughter changes the atmosphere.
People can be naturally funny. Years ago, I was working in a law firm and very busy with several young children. We were invited to an event at a place, and the family went there. I met an old friend there and was thinking to myself that I would like to have her visit sometime, but being so busy, and not being home a lot in the daytime, I did not know just how to make it work. Out of my mouth came these words, “Why don’t you come visit some time when I’m not home.” Now that is not what I meant to say, but that is what came out. She looked at me and laughed and so did I.
I have met so many people in my 70+ years, and there is always that one that never laughs. You would think they were baptized in pickle juice because they have such “sour” dispositions.
Loosen up. Yes, there are a lot of terrible things happening in the world, but do not get caught up in the negative. Take time to smile. It will make you feel good.
In closing, I am reminded of speaking to a telephone operator years ago. She sounded so happy and was so helpful. I told her that her attitude was full of joy. She told me that all the operators had to have a mirror in front of them when they spoke, so they knew how they looked. It changed her. I think we all need that mirror more often than not.

PROPHETIC WORD

Like a puzzle that is being framed together, do not think it strange that you were chosen for such a time as this. You are part of the plan in this season and the plan will unfold as the pieces come together. You may think of yourself as a small piece, but without you, the puzzle would be incomplete. Do not look at this season as a time to run and hide your piece. For, you must be willing to be placed into your strategic position, so all things come together. You have seen how the world is my child. You have seen it grow darker and darker but the problem with this is if you only look at the darkness you will not be light. You are being raised to your strategic position for this time, and it is important you keep your ears tuned in to my Spirit. For when you get placed into the position that I have set aside for you, you will see the other pieces come together. You are being used to draw others into this puzzle. Oh, my child if you could see the finished puzzle, you would surely know that you were a strategic piece. So, yield to my touch and placement. You will not fit into any place that would be contrary to my plan. You have often wondered why you didn’t fit in, and the reason is you didn’t belong in that space. You were chosen for your own particular place, and nothing else will fit for you. As you yield to this placement, those that belong with you will come together. They are awaiting my bidding just as you are, and it will come together in such a way that you know it was your God that put this together. As you yield, you will see things in a way that you haven’t seen before. Do not discount where you are being placed and think of it as a lowly position, because every piece in this puzzle is necessary to bring the whole puzzle together. Now, await my touch and my word, and you shall see things come together for this season, for in the days ahead it will take a united front to ward off what is about to come. There must be a fitting together so the body can work together. Do not get ahead of my move, my child, for it would not only harm you but others as well. Wait, yield, and be ready for what is coming. Remember every piece of armor is required to protect the whole body and withstand the wiles of the enemy. Now, be ready, and you shall see that my plan and placement is right for you saith the Lord.

Never fear about putting the people and/or the things that are troubling you into God’s hands. The truth is God really does love you; And He knows more about you and the journey you’re on as well as the trials that you are facing…Than you know yourself. Jeremiah 29:11 tells you…”I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope”. Now determine to have yourself a blessed day and then hold on; As you put your full trust in God to bring to completion everything you’ve been praying about…For He really knows what He’s doing.
