SIGNS OF THE TIMES
Many old sayings that we have heard, and are true, have their origin in the scriptures that bring much wisdom. One such truism [saying] is “Red sky in the morning; sailors take warning. Red sky at night; sailors’ delight.” The Mariners [seamen] must pay careful attention to weather conditions. They must discern the “face of the sky.”
That saying from the mariners is found in Matthew 16:2-3 where Jesus says to the Pharisees, “When it is evening, ye say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ And in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and lowring.’ O, ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky, but can yet not discern the signs of the times?”
People who are spiritually blind cannot understand or discern the signs all around them that are spoken of in the bible. They see natural disasters as events of nature. They might even call these disasters as an “at of God” for insurance purposes, but they fail to see them as actual judgments from God upon a sinful city or nation. Yet there are many “natural” events that are signaling end time judgment. God places his warnings all over his creation whether on earth or in the heavens above.
Signs of the times can be found in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 and all throughout the Book of Revelation.
Wake up you “sleepy Christians” and recognize the signs of the times which are all around us. Read your bible and ask the Holy Spirit to show you the deeper meanings.
Yes, you can ask that directly of the Holy Spirit. He is our Guide, our Comforter, our Anointing, the Revealer of Jesus, and the Word. The Holy Spirit will bring you greater awareness and understanding… if you ask Him.

A SPIRITUAL CHECKUP

Have you had a spiritual checkup lately? Hmm. Well let’s start with the head. Is your head full of self and high-mindedness? Well, then it should get straightened out with a shot of there is no high like the Most High.
Then, are your thoughts prideful? Maybe we need to take a dose of humility.
And your lips– are they speaking the things of God, or are they speaking doubt and fear and perhaps idle gossip? Well, a dose of guard your mouth is in order.
What about the ears? Are they tuned in to things of the Spirit, or are they dull of hearing with self-wax that will keep them from hearing from God? If so, then a dose of spiritual earwax removal is in order.
Then to the eyes– are they looking at things in the natural, or are they seeing what God’s Word says about things? Are they seeing those things that are not can only obtained by faith? Maybe a dose of spiritual eye salve is in order so we get renewed vision.
Then the neck– is it turned up to God, trusting Him in all that you do, or bent down in depression? A dose of faith is in order.
Of course, what hat you are wearing will determine the team you are in. What team does your hat display? Does it display self, or God’s team? Maybe a change of hats is in order.
Then what about the heart? Is it filled up with love for God and others, or full of hate and fear? Perhaps we need a shot of repentance to make it healthy.
I could go on and on with each part of ourselves, but I think you get the picture.
A spiritual checkup is so important. Yet so often we want to inspect others instead of ourselves. Let’s be honest. We all need a spiritual tune-up! Let’s let God examine us today to see what we need to change to be spiritually healthy.
If we let Him, he can show us what we need so we can be spiritually healthy Christians.

AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS
Just as I wept over Jerusalem, I weep over my people that have strayed so far from me. I have bid them to come to that secret place, yet they have resisted and have not. I have called to them and they have failed to answer. I weep over their lack of faith and their rebellion against my word. I am sorrowful for there is much to soon happen that would have required their spending time with me in preparation. Many think they are prepared but they have not been prepared. I weep, I weep, for the hour is at hand that I said would come. The battle has intensified, and my children are being scattered left and right like a flock of birds when a shot is fired. Oh, that they would have come into that secret place and listened to me. Oh, that they would have made the choice to go all the way with me, but they have not. For they are as the church of Laodicea, neither hot nor cold, and they are being led so easily by the chaos around them. Oh, that they would have listened to me. I weep over them for there is about to be much sorrow and much chaos coming forth that will cause many to fail. I weep for them and I pray that their faith would be strengthened but it will only come when they come into that secret place and spend time with me saith the Lord.

To all of you my fellow Christians, God fearing and God seeking people; Just know there’ll be those times when you just won’t “feel” God…But SEEK Him anyway. Perhaps your prayers seem as if they’re hitting a brick wall…But PRAY anyway. Yes, and by all means continue to READ and even memorize some scriptures from God’s Holy Word; Even if they do sometimes feel like only words on a page…But READ your Bible anyway…And remember they are living words from the one who sticks closer than a brother, your Lord, your Savior and your soon coming King…Jesus Christ. So starting today just PRESS in a little harder; And I promise that God will award you and honor you greatly for it all.

The Only Scars! HCC
When we get to Heaven,
Our bodies, they will change.
It will be so wonderful,
Wrinkles gone, not racked with pain.
A youthful glow of innocence,
Grey hair gone, and eyes can see.
Our scars will be no more now,
In this beautiful Eternity.
We will hold each other,
Remembering cherished friends.
We will smile and cry with joy,
To see our loved ones, once again.
But the only scars in Heaven,
