DON’T LIMIT GOD

So often people limit God. They pray for something and when it does not happen right away, they believe that God did not want to give them what they prayed for, so they quit praying. With God, often this is not the case. God is allowing time to lapse to stretch your faith. Don’t limit God.

Many people are content in the situation they have and do not believe that anything can change it. We must remember that God grows us from one stage to another by our faith. When we stay content, we are limiting God’s work in our lives. Don’t limit God!

God will always fulfill his word. Many promises are unconditional, but others are conditional. God cannot bless disobedience or sin.   If we know something is sin and continue it will limit God in our lives. Don’t limit God.

God wants to bless his children. He is a loving God, but when we walk out of his will, we will not just receive love, we will receive correction. Often what we think is the devil is actually God disciplining us. A loving parent disciplines their children when they are disobedient. Don’t limit God in his discipline!

Limiting God will result in defeat instead of victory. Limiting God will only do harm and not good. Are you limiting God in your life? Ask him to examine your heart and if he shows you an area that needs change then be willing to do it. Don’t limit God!
