New! Plans for Mixed-Use Project


Related Group, BH Group and Tezral Partners submitted plans for a mixed-use multifamily development in Riviera Beach.


The Riviera Beach Marina Village project is planned for a 2.5-acre property owned by the city’s Community Redevelopment Agency. The development is set to include about 3,000 square feet of retail, another 3,000 square feet of offices and a 648-space parking garage. The apartments will range from studios to three-bedroom units. The project will also have amenities for the residents, including a pool and recreation deck.

New! Ironing Out Details for Pickeball


The Avon Park Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Advisory Board discussed in detail Donaldson Park’s future in pickleball. This was a continuation of the joint session workshop that was assembled on July 2.


CRA Communications and Project Coordinator Shawn Holiday provided the board notes from the session to “solidify” their approach to get a Request for Proposal and begin work on the project by the end of the year.

Local Agency Teams up with NonProfit to Revitalize Glenwood Community


The Panama City North Community Redevelopment Agency teamed up with the World Changers non-profit to revitalize parts of the Glenwood community.


World Changers volunteers are providing free repairs to residents along East 9th Court. The work is key to the CRA’s overall mission.

Affordable Homeownership Expands With White Coral


In a significant move towards addressing the challenges of affordable housing in Fort Myers, the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Selection Committee has identified a developer for a new housing project named White Coral. The selected site, located at 2200 Jaylen Watkins Street, is poised to welcome 26 single-family homes designed to bolster homeownership opportunities for low and moderate-income families.


Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties, Inc., stood out as the sole applicant committing to bring the White Coral project to fruition.

Deerfield Beach Freebie Rideshare


The Deerfield Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) has partnered with Freebee to provide free, on-demand, 100% electric transportation to and from District businesses.


The new rideshare service offers free, on-demand rides in electric-powered Tesla vehicles to riders requesting a ride from any home or hotel in the City of Deerfield Beach to any business in the Deerfield Beach CRA. Rides will not be available to riders requesting a ride from the Cove to the beach. After riders visit their desired restaurant, store, or service, they can book a return ride for free as well.
