Our very generous partner, the McClesky East Cobb YMCA made it possible for our children to attend a week of camp. The McClesky YMCA always remembers the Family Promise children in their outreach for services, last year providing swim lessons and camp weeks. The Y summer camp is packed full of activities and would be outside of the budget for the working moms and dads in our program without a scholarship.  The children who attended could not stop raving about the fun they had. St. Catherine's Episcopal Church is once again stepping up to mentor and tutor one of our teens. Adult members of St. Catherine's are trained to be mentors and friends to teens. Adults and youth meet once every two weeks to talk about the young person's experiences. Mentors and youth also participate in fun group events like bowling, rafting and hiking three or four times a year. St. Catherine's mentorship program started including FPCC teens in late 2014 and have now provided mentors to almost every graduate family. St. Catherine's also serves as one of our host congregations.
