Second Saturdays at the Community Market

Many thanks to the group of 14 volunteers from FPC who came to serve at the Community Market of East Alabama this past Saturday! While there we learned that over the last few months, the Community Market has seen an incredible increase in the number of clients seeking assistance with food insecurity. If you would like to come help, we have another opportunity to volunteer coming up on February 11 from 9am-12pm - all ages are welcome!

Sign up to provide dinner to the college students!

The spring semester begins this week, and UKirk will start on January 15! If you would like to get to know our college students, consider signing up to bring dinner for UKirk one Sundays evening this semester. We typically have 12-15 students come to dinner and volunteers bring a main dish, salad or side, and dessert. You are welcome to stay for dinner or drop something off. If you unable to bring a dinner, but would like to contribute to feeding the students, you can make a donation to UKirk by sending a check made out to the church with "UKirk Meal Fund" written in the memo. Thank you for supporting UKirk and the college students!

Sign up to bring dinner here!
