April 2023 Meeting Summary

The DC Secondary Transition Community of Practice April meeting focused on current data related to DC education and postsecondary outcomes as well as planning postsecondary data collection at the school level. Special thank you to our presenters: Julie Rubin, DC Policy Center, and Mahko Connard, Paul Public Charter School.

Next Steps:

  • Complete this 5-minute survey by Friday, May 12th to provide information for DC’s Interagency State-Level Team that will be attending NTACT:C’s Capacity Building Institute (CBI) to develop a District-wide Secondary Transition Plan.
  • Give us feedback on the April Community of Practice meeting.
  • Mark your Calendar: Our next meeting will be Friday, May 19th from 10:00-11:30 am. We will be focused on Engaging Families in Student-Driven Transition Planning. Register here if you have not already done so.
