The Men's BBQ Dinner was a Success!

On Tuesday, September 3rd we had our first-ever Pan-Orthodox men's BBQ dinner. We sold the event out and had men from several Orthodox jurisdictions and parishes attend. The owner of Karl's Cabin and parishioner at Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Plymouth, MI, Louis Poulos, cooked an amazingly delicious meal. We are sure that this will become an annual event! Men: If you missed out this time, we hope to see you at the next one, and at any of our upcoming events and service opportunities.

The 2nd Annual FOCUS Detroit Gala

at The St. Mary Cultural Center in Livonia. Come party with us and celebrate the accomplishments of FOCUS Detroit through food, drink, and music with Lady Sunshine and the X Band! We will be giving our first-ever FOCUS Champions Award to one woman, man, teen/young adult, and one community partner who has shown their commitment to our mission of sharing the transformative love of Christ with our neighbors. November 1-3:

The Motor City Orthodox Christians Conference.

This is the third annual conference for young adults (21-40). All events will take place in downtown Detroit. The topic this year is Made in His Image. Registration here: MotorCityOrthodox.org

Tuesday evening crafts, games, and dinner are back on September 17th!

One of our favorite ministries is back this school year!

On Tuesday evenings we go to Commonwealth Community Development Academy and prepare a meal for the students who stay after for tutoring and academic enrichment. We also provide arts & crafts programs, games, and other activities.
