Fort Bend ISD's Shared Dreams anniversary celebration to be held November 8
It is time to celebrate! Shared Dream's 35th anniversary will be held at 1555 Independence Blvd., Missouri City, 77489 (at the facility located next to Progressive High School). The event's program will include remarks from district leadership, student performances, a tour of the new facility and light refreshments courtesy of HEB.
What is Shared Dreams?
Shared Dreams was created in 1988 to provide basic everyday items to Fort Bend ISD students – provisions that help remove barriers and enable children and their families to have a less stressful school experience.
Some people are surprised to learn about the amount of need in Fort Bend ISD. The district has 80,000 students, and 52 percent are economically disadvantaged. Almost 1,000 are homeless. FBISD's Shared Dreams has provided our students and families with basic needs for 35 years.
