First 2023 FAQ Posted and Cost Containment Update

The First set of FAQs has been posted to OHFA's website. The document contains new FAQs that have been received since the 2023 QAP was approved. OHFA will accept FAQs sent to the QAP Mailbox until January 13, 2023 at 5pm.


The Cost Containment Policy has been updated for the 2023 9% Round. New guidance for 4% HTC is included in the policy as well for applicants applying for non-competitive HTC.

ICYMI 2023 9% LIHTC Application Posted

Application materials for the 2023 9% LIHTC Allocation Round have been posted . Documents posted include:


The Development Team PreApproval Form only needs to be submitted for Development Team entities that did not apply during the 2022 9% Round. For entities that were approved in 2022 please complete the summary page for 2023 applications so FTP logins can be assigned.

ICYMI Draft Underwriting Guideline and Design and Architectural Standards Comment Period Extended

The Draft 2023 Multifamily Underwriting Guidelines have been re-posted and the Draft Design and Architectural Standards have been posted to the OHFA Guidelines Page. Both clean and redline versions of the document are available. These guidelines will apply to all 2023 OHFA Multifamily Funding Programs.


Comments may be sent to QAP@ohiohome.org until December 30th at 5pm

  • Rental income documentation
  • Addition of "Economic Mobility Services" as an allowable expense
