FAME Focus

MedEdMentor | A Resource for Education Scholarship

In December, FAME was delighted to be joined by Geoffrey Stetson, MD, the co-creator of a new health professions scholarship resource called MedEdMentor. The AI-enhanced MedEdMentor platform allows users to efficiently perform literature and theory searches and includes a quick-reference glossary to enhance database searches. For more information on MedEdMentor, view FAME's December Education Scholarship Session with Dr. Stetson, MedEdMentor: A Virtual Guide for Medical Education Scholarship.

Agile Mentorship and Future Mentor Development Opportunities

FAME member Kenzie Cameron, PhD, MPH discussed Agile Mentorship: Strategies for Success at the December 2023 TIME Lecture. The lecture focused on ways to implement agile program management strategies into mentoring relationships to maximize the experience for both mentees and mentors.

For those looking to further expand their mentoring skills, FAME's Education Excellence Series workshop on January 18 we look forward to welcoming back Dr. Kenzie Cameron. Attendees will work to further hone their mentoring strategies during this session.
