FAME Staff Spotlight
Matt Lindquist, Commercial Loan Officer
Matt Lindquist joined FAME's Commercial Lending team in August of 2015, after previously serving as Commercial Loan Officer at The Bank of Maine. Born and raised in Augusta, Maine, Matt loves his home state. "It's a privilege to live and work here in Maine, and I am proud to play a part in helping Maine businesses succeed." In his work as a commercial loan officer, Matt enjoys finding creative solutions for Maine businesses unable to secure financing through traditional avenues, and he particularly appreciates the interpersonal aspect of his work. "Here in Maine, it's all about community—whether it's at the state level, your city or town, or the people you work with—that sense of community is always present."
Matt and his wife Jessica live in Vassalboro with their three sons, Drew (10), Landon (7), and Ryley (5), for whom Dad also serves as coach on the baseball diamond and the basketball court. When not busy working, coaching, or being a dad, Matt enjoys DIY projects around the house, fishing at family camps on Unity Pond and Cold Stream Pond, and a good, competitive round of cornhole.
