Buffalo Grove, IL (October 5, 2015)- Fall-Line Motorsports drivers Ashley Freiberg and Trent Hindman finally found themselves in victory lane in 2015 as they won the last race of the year in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge series in their BMW M3. The race was a mix of conditions from damp to drenched but Hindman was able to hang on and took the checkered flag just 1.1 seconds ahead of 2nd place.
Freiberg started the race in eighth position as qualifying was rained out and the grid was set by points. The team opted to start on dry tires believing a dry line would appear as the rain had stopped, but as the green fell so did the rain. Ashley drove a great stint but the rain persisted so they had to switch to wets after just seven laps. Ashley then drove a sensational stint as she fought to remain on the lead lap. Under the next yellow, around the 35 minute mark, the team opted to pit again for fuel only. Ashley then moved up
to P2 in transitional conditions before coming in for a driver change. Hindman took on two rain tires and fuel as the rain continued and in "horrid conditions" Trent marched to the front and a lea
d he would never relinquish. Under intense pressure and with poor visibility Trent brought the Fall-Line Motorsports BMW to victory lane after 2.5-hours of intense racing in very changeable conditions. He held off Robin Liddell and brought the team their first victory of the year to end an up-and-down season.
The returning GS champions finish P8 this year in overall standings after not being classified in 2 events due to not meeting minimum driver time.

I am absolutely thrilled that we were finally able to bring home a win! I feel like we really owe this one to the whole Fall-Line Motorsports crew because they worked tirelessly all year. Even when times got tough they kept pushing on, so this one is certainly for the guys. Overall that was one of the most difficult stints I've ever had. The track conditions were terrible, visibility was poor at best, and the rain was getting heavier towards the end of the race. Robin (Liddell) was putting some tremendous pressure on us but I was not very worried; the Trim-Tex, IHG Rewards Club, Top 1 Oil BMW M3 was excellent in those wet conditions. We had our fair share of tough luck this year but I cannot be happier and more thankful that we finished off the 2015 CTSC season off by bringing home the W!"

The 2015 season could not have ended any better. The win was a long time coming, but it was worth the wait. I honestly had no idea that I had gotten us up to second place before handing the car to Trent, I was just on a mission to pass as many cars as possible! We as a team were all making huge risks, including myself with some of the sketchy passes I was making in the highspeed esses in the rain, but I knew I had to put it all on the line to have a shot at the win. Great job by the crew with their flawless pit stops and strategy, and to Trent who held off Robin for the last hour of the race! I am so glad that we could give BMW, IHG Rewards Club, Fall-Line Motorsports, and Trim-Tex the results they deserve for the amount of support they have given us this year! I am just so thankful for everything and that they have given us the opportunity to do what we love and to do it well. Now I am focused on putting a ride together for 2016, so there won't be an off-season for me!"

A great way to wrap up 2015 for the Fall-Line Motorsports, IHG Rewards Club, Trim-Tex, BMW. In extremely tricky conditions both Trent and Ashley saved their best for last. Starting on slicks in the rain Ashley drove a masterful first few laps until Mother Nature won and we were forced to change to wets. Up against the best she drove an excellent extended stint to bring the car to Trent who then proceeded to drive the race of his life and demonstrate why he is the 2014 GS champion. After almost going a lap down early, in typical Fall-Line fashion we fought back to then lead the last hour and this was a superb way to cap off 2015.
