Dear Parents,

As we reach the conclusion of another wonderful school year, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your continuous support and involvement in your child’s education. This year has been filled with countless moments of learning, growth, and joy, and it has been a privilege to watch your children flourish both academically and personally.

You should have received the results of your child’s end of the year STAR test which is one data point to use to assess your child’s progress this year.  Here are the school’s results for Math and Reading by grade.  The scores are listed by percentiles.  For example, this would mean that our first grade class is performing as well as, or better than 93% of the first graders that took this test in the nation. Kindergarten takes an early learning test but the scores cannot be compared to the grade level scores on the STAR test. That is why Kindergarten is not displayed.

I would like to congratulate Aidan Burich, a Father Allouez graduate, who was the Salutatorian at Notre Dame Academy this year.  We are incredibly proud of him and all our graduates for their outstanding high school achievements.

It is with a mix of gratitude and sadness that I announce the departure of James Block, middle school music and band instructor, he will be leaving us at the end of this school year.

Dear Father Allouez Community

It has been a joy teaching at Fr. Allouez the past 5 years. Many memories were made and it has been a pleasure. From teaching general music to students from Pre-K to 8th grade, and from Band to computer classes it has been a joy to teach at Fr. Allouez. I will also never forget the opportunity to be one of the staff chaperones at Camp Tekakwitha for our middle school students the past few years. Next year I will be teaching band at St. Ignatius Catholic School in Kaukauna. Thank you for welcoming me the past few years, and for all of the support you have shown to theater and music. James Block

As we transition into the summer break, I hope that you and your family have a restful and enjoyable time. Summer is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore new interests, spend quality time with family and friends, and create lasting memories. Whether it’s through travel, reading, outdoor adventures, or simply relaxing at home, we encourage you to make the most of this special time together.

For those who are looking for ways to keep the learning momentum going over the summer, we recommend incorporating fun and educational activities into your daily routines. Visiting local libraries, museums, and parks, as well as engaging in hands-on projects and reading together, can be great ways to continue fostering a love for learning.

The staff and faculty look forward to welcoming your children back in the fall, ready for another exciting and productive school year. Until then, we wish you all a safe, happy, and relaxing summer.

Growing in GRACE,

Kay Franz
