As one of Ohio’s more than 70,000 child care professionals, you have the privilege of promoting children’s early learning and healthy development each day. You observe firsthand the different ways children develop, and you know when they and their families could use extra support.

Making a referral to Help Me Grow's system of supports is a simple way to help Ohio's children and their families get the support services they need.

Home Visiting and Early Intervention are part of the Help Me Grow system of supports for pregnant women, caregivers with new babies, and families with young children with developmental delays and disabilities.
Dedicated to healthy babies and families
Families you serve can benefit from Home Visiting, a voluntary, home-based (or virtual) program offered at no cost to pregnant women and caregivers with young children. Home visitors answer questions about parenting and child health; connect families to resources that help with basic needs; and provide information and screenings to support a healthy pregnancy and early childhood.
Concerned about a child's development? Act early!
If you have concerns about the development of a child you work with, the best thing you can do is discuss those concerns with your supervisor and refer the child to Early Intervention. Early Intervention can address all types of concerns, like crawling or walking, speech delays, or social interactions like playing with other children or smiling.
Completing a web referral form is an easy first step for anyone and everyone to connect families with Home Visiting or Early Intervention services. Visit www.helpmegrow.org to start the process!
