Chapel in the Pines, Aging Outreach Services, and Fox Hollow Senior Living have proudly sponsored educational programs in the Seven Lakes community since 2014. “Over the years our community partners have worked together to respond to the educational needs of families and help older adults plan for and face age-related challenges. The passion and expertise our panel of experts bring provide excellent resources to help families explore viable care options and services local to our area. It is our goal to help others age with success” states Amy Natt, CEO of Aging Outreach Services. Natt invites the community to share topics of interest for future programs.

Tuesday, September 10 - Healthcare Choices.

This program will focus on healthcare choices with guest panelist Emily Tobias, Attorney with Gills & Tobias, LLP. Research shows that the average older adult will experience health changes as they age. Whether a chronic condition or a new diagnosis that pops up unexpectedly, as we age there is a chance that we will need support in one form or another.

  • Have you talked with your medical provider about what kinds of health crisis and declines to expect?

  • Have you completed your advance directives or recently reviewed the documents you completed years ago?

  • Are you prepared to re-assess your preferences and plans periodically?

Tuesday, September 24 - Lifestyle Choices.

This program will focus on lifestyle choices with guest panelist Edward T. Hill, Certified Financial Planner™ with Edward Hill Wealth Management. From early retirement years to coping with a life altering diagnosis to end-of-life care decisions, choices and decisions surround us. Our panel of experts will share insights and tips designed to help you navigate the abundance of lifestyle choices and opportunities older adults and their families experience.

  • Are your finances in line with your lifestyle choices?

  • When a healthcare condition requires additional in-home support or the move to a care community, do you know how to determine the best care option for you?

  • Have you shared your lifestyle choices with your support team?
Invite your family and friends to join us! The passion and expertise our panel of experts bring provide excellent resources to help families explore viable care options and services local to our area.
