A Word from the CEO
Building an investment portfolio can be confounding. You can look at our
model portfolios to determine how much to invest in each of the major asset classes, but how should you allocate your investments
within each of the asset classes?
Our New Series on the JRB's investment options gives you the information to answer this question. The Series begins with a review of the five large-cap funds we offer. We describe the investment goal and strategy of each fund (
active or passive management, value or growth orientation). We also show a variety of Morningstar
(R) ratings so you can compare the JRB's funds to their peers in terms of returns, expenses and risk. Each description also provides the total returns for 1-, 3-, 5- and 10-years and links to a Fact Sheet and the Prospectus for each fund.
Reading this article is sure to improve your understanding of the JRB's large-cap investment options, but please call us at 888-JRB-FREE (572-3733) to discuss how to apply this information to your portfolio.
Also included in this issue is our annual Investment Outlook. We've summarized the thinking of analysts at four of the investment houses whose funds we offer — Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, T. Rowe Price and Vanguard. Consensus among these projections is for economic recovery in 2021 with lower rates of return for both stocks and bonds.
Finally, join me in welcoming Rabbi Andrea Merow to the Board of Trustees. In addition, the Board elected a new Executive Committee for 2021. See below for more details.
Please contact us to discuss any aspect of your financial and retirement plan. We are just an email or phone call 888-JRB-FREE (572-3733) away.
L'Shalom,
