We are thrilled to share the latest updates on the exciting renovation of the Ocean Point Golf Course.
The progress on the back nine has been remarkable, and we are now ready to move the renovation efforts to the front nine starting on July 22nd. Our team is working diligently to ensure we stay on track for our anticipated reopening in early September.
Here is a detailed overview of the work completed on the back nine to date:

New Bunkers: All holes feature newly shaped bunkers, with sand being added.

Fairway Bunkers: Additional fairway bunkers have been installed on holes 12 and 16, to improve the design and visual aesthetics.

Pond Brush Clearing: To open up the view corridors the brush around the ponds on holes 16 and 17 has been completely cleared. You can now see the ocean from 16 tee!

Waste Areas: These have been graded and prepped and are ready for the addition of new materials.

Green Enlargement: The green on hole 17 has been enlarged.

Greens Enhancements: All greens have been punched and topdressed to promote long term turf health.

Sod Installation: Disturbed areas are being carefully re-sodded to maintain the course's lush appearance.

Fairways and Rough: Comprehensive punching have been carried out across all fairways and rough areas.

Cart Path Work: Replacement of the old asphalt is scheduled to begin on August 5th.

Oak Trees: Several majestic oak trees are now highlighted and fully visible due to the clearing and cleanup of surrounding areas.

Course Amenities: New amenities have been ordered, promising a top-notch experience for all golfers.

Scoreboard: The scoreboard has been freshly painted and new sign ordered.
