Chair Report

Dear ACHE of Indiana Members,

We hope you are all enjoying a fantastic summer. We are thrilled with the impressive attendance at our ACHE of Indiana educational events this year. Your participation and engagement have been invaluable, and we extend our gratitude to everyone who joined us to benefit from our excellent panelists. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all chapter members who completed the ACHE survey in May. Your feedback is crucial to our chapter leadership as we strive to offer events and educational sessions that provide significant value to our membership.

We are honored to announce an exciting new partnership with the Indiana Hospital

Association (IHA) for this year’s IHA Annual Meeting. Traditionally, attendance at this

meeting has been limited to those affiliated with IHA member hospitals. However, this

year, a special rate is available to our ACHE of Indiana members, including those from

non-IHA member organizations. You have the option to attend both days (November 13-

14) or a single day on November 14. The November 14th schedule includes the IHA

awards luncheon, a keynote from an ACHE national speaker, and the ACHE of Indiana

annual awards ceremony. Further details are outlined below.

Lastly, we encourage you to consider becoming a board member of ACHE of Indiana.

Local ACHE chapters are managed by elected officers and directors who are referred to

as the chapter board. The chapter board assumes authority and responsibility for

supervising the general operation of the chapter in meeting its goals and objectives.

Chapter board members, known as the board of directors (or simply, board), must both

guide and prepare the chapter for the future while providing successful programs right

now. Board members serve a two-year term. As some of our current board members

will conclude their terms in 2024, we are accepting applications for these upcoming

vacancies. The term for new board members will run January 2025-December 2026. If

you are interested in applying, please follow this link to submit your application.

Warm regards,

Sheila Kelty, DHA, FACHE
